Below I have breakdowns for each character's costume expectations. I don't expect people to go out and spend lots of money on anything. I am hoping for the most part, people will have these items already. If there is something you need but do not have and are not able to get for personal reasons, please do not hesitate to reach out. We will make sure it is taken care of.
At the bottom of the page you will find a downloadable/printable version of this information if that helps you. Also, our costume girls put together some slides with images. That is at the bottom as well.
COSTUME BREAKDOWN
NOTES FOR EVERYONE: No shirts with tons of words or giant logos/images. Closed toed shoes ALWAYS. No sandals, flip flops, slides, etc. No "billed" hats. If a ski cap fits your character and you want to wear one, that fine... but you might get hot!
Camp Star
All camp star girls will need black leggings (full length, not cropped) and a long sleeve black shirt. The shirt doesn’t have to be skin tight, but it can’t be a big baggy t-shirt either. We will be putting a belt around it for a scene. It is preferred that they wear black shoes, be in tennis shoes, comfortable shoes, boots, etc, but don’t expect anyone to go out and buy new shoes. They CANNOT be sandals, must have closed toe and heel. This includes:

All Dancers for Fire, Tear it Down, and It’s On
Axel (Logyn) needs to be in all black, possibly some silver jewelry. He’s a minacing ex-rockstar.
Georgina (Ryleigh) will need a jean jacket in addition to her black pants and shirt, and maybe just a t-shirt or sweatshirt that she has at home for the very last scene.
Dana, Lucy, and Tess *once she’s at Camp Star (Hailey, Noelle, and Kinsley) will be in their provided costumes almost the entire show (these items go on top of the black pants and long sleeve shirt). Lucy and Tess will also need a black tank top.
Camp Rock
Brynn is also an ex rockstar, but doesn’t need all black. That being said, I don’t necessarily think she would be flaunting florals and pinks either. Think holey jeans or black on the bottom, jean jacket over maybe a graphic T or something along those lines.
Tess is the camp diva. Flashy, sparkly, pinks, silver, gold, etc. You’ll only need one costume to match this personna.
Havyn, Haiden, Olivia - you guys are tomboys, so you’ll need to dress cool but not frilly. Think skater or rocker over fancy.
Lincoln - Think stylish, but skater/athletic/cool fashion.
Connect 3 needs to always look to be in costume with each other. Your color scheme will be black, white, gray, and red. You are famous, so you always need to look cool. Like I say below, you’re more than welcome to wear one costume throughout the entire show until Final Jam. If you want to be able to vary it somewhat by adding a jacket, changing your top shirt, etc., that is fine, too.
For Final Jam I would love you to change something a little bit. Add a jacket, throw on a button up shirt, etc.
All other camp rockers - you are at summer camp, but it’s a camp that would make you famous if you played your card right. You all want to be stars, so how you dress should reflect that without being over the top. For most of the show you will be “comfortable” but that doesn’t mean sweats, think everyday stylish. You are more than welcome to wear one costume throughout the entire show until Final Jam. If you want to be able to vary it somewhat by adding a jacket, changing your top shirt, etc., that is fine, too.
For Final Jam, I would like you to all “up your game” a little bit. Look just a little bit nicer. You’re performing on television so you’ll want to look your best. Think of your character. Ella might be a little flashier than Peggy. Havyn, Haiden, and Olivia probably wouldn’t have on dresses. (I don’t know that I’d recommend dresses to anyone since you’ll be dancing and then sitting at a camp fire, but point made.) This includes:

All dancers for This is Our Song (Intro), Start the Party, It’s On, and Wouldn’t Change a Thing. (Sidenote: Wouldn’t Change a Thing is not the correct title but that’s what I have on the website. The actual song is What We Came Here For. If you’re listed under Wouldn’t Change a Thing, this is you.)
Ella is very into fashion, so she will always be a little more “done up” than all the other Camp Rockers.
IF YOU START OUT AS A CAMP ROCKER AND THEN SWITCH TO CAMP STAR, you’re more than welcome to have on the all black with a jacket, flannel, tshirt, sweatshirt, etc., over it in the opening scene to make your life simple.
